œDC arc furnace 

DC Arc Furnace

œ The Daido DC Arc Furnace was developed by joint research and development with Shin Nippon Steel Corporation and Usinor-Sacilor (France). 
œ DC method reduces flicker by half and enables high -power /high-speed melting. 
œ DC method also reduces various specific consumption to a great extent and enables uniform melting.

œLadle furnace (LF) 

Ladle Furnace (LF)

œ Under current circumstances which include JIS standards review, deterioration of scrap quality, and improvements in steel quality, the arc-furnace-to-ladle furnaces process which carries out atmospheric refining such as deoxidization, desulphurization and the reduction of non ferrous impurities has become indispensable. 
œ Enables smooth matching with the continuous casting machine (CCM), thus improving productivity of arc furnaces. 

œArgon oxygen decarburization furnace (AOD) 

AOD

œ Decarburizes stainless steel at atmospheric pressure.
Excellent productivity and economics with high recovery percentage of chrome from slag. 

œVacuum degasser 

Vacuum Degasser

œ Recirculates the molten steel through the vacuum tank to remove hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen and segregate non-ferrous impurities.
