Daido Steel has established three types
of powder production technology,
by
water atomizing, gas atomizing, and
vacuum melting gas atomizing processes,
based on its proprietary powder alloy
design technology.

By water atomizing, powders with
excellent cost-performance and pressure
formability can be manufactured which
are mainly used in pressurized powder
magnetic core manufacture, powder
alloys and metal powder injection
molding. |
By gas atomizing, virtually perfect
spherically is achieved. These powders
are utilized in HIP-process powder tool
steel making and welding and so on. |
Recently, a vacuum melting gas
atomizing apparatus has been introduced
to manufacture active metal powders
and high-purity powders.
