Steckel mill was introduced into
Hoshizaki Plant. Production of
high-grade strip steel started with the integrated
manufacturing

An efficient steel melting process
was developed by introducing
two 700-ton molten steel storage vessels. We call
this process as
"AN (Anticipate the Next) process". |

The steel casting divisions of Daido
Steel Co., Ltd. , Daido Special
Castings Co., Ltd. , and Daido Precision Parts
Co., Ltd. were united to
form a world class integrated maker of steel
castings,
"Daido Castings Co., Ltd.", established
in April 2002. |
The accumulated quantify of blooming
at Chita Plant since its
startup reached 50 million tons. |
