Principle |
An acid-degraded solution sample is sprayed in air-acetylene or nitrous
oxide-acetylene gas flames. The sample is atomized in the flames, the atoms are irradiated with light of an element-specific wavelength, and the absorption of the light is measured.
Higher absorption means higher rate of content. |
Features |
1.High dissemination rate in chemical analysis
2.An easy method applicable to a wide range of uses
3.Combined with sample preparation methods, the trace analysis becomes more precise. |
Target samples |
1.Iron, steel, nonferrous metals (nickel, aluminum, titanium)
2.If samples are soluble, cationic elements can be measured in general
3.Often used for environmental analysis |
