Titanium Alloy, High Purity Powder

The titanium Alloyed Powder with low oxygen content produced by Levitation-melting and gas atomization can be used not only as materials for producing items using HIP, MIM and pressed powder molding and sintering but also as materials for producing corrosion-resistant cladding by injection and building-up. It is possible to use the Alloyed Powder of high purity as sputtering taarget materials after being densified by HIP.

  • Molten metal is kept semi-floating in the water-cooled crucible and gas-atomized powder is produced.
  • The combination of Levitation-melting and gas-atomization processes prevents impurities such as oxygen from being picked up from the crucible.
  • It is possible to produce uncontaminated high purity powder.
